Listasafn Íslands í samstarfi við umboðsmann barna býður upp á námskeið fyrir grindvísk börn fædd 2012 -2014 (10 - 12 ára).

The National Gallery of Iceland, in collaboration with the Children's Ombudsman, offers a course for Grindavík children born between 2012 and 2014 (ages 10 - 12).
The course will take place from June 10 to June 14, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Culture House on Hverfisgata, under the guidance of artists Margrét H. Blöndal and Kolbeinn Hugi.
The course will consider the experiences of children from Grindavík who had to flee their homes on November 10 last year and will be based on these experiences. The course will involve activities with textiles, drawings, and three-dimensional forms. Discussions will revolve around communities, urban areas, and city planning. Why do people live together? Can communities relocate? How would my community look if I were in charge?
The course will conclude with an exhibition at the Culture House on Hverfisgata on June 17, where parts of the data from a session held by the Children's Ombudsman with children from Grindavík in early March will also be displayed.
