Specific housing support is a monthly payment to reduce the housing cost of Grindavík´s residents who need to rent housing away from Grindavík due to the earthquakes in Reykjanes.
The housing benefit remains intact for residents of Grindavík, even if they change their legal residence. The special housing subsidy has been extended until the end of the year.
